* Warning: Spoilers Ahead * About: Yao father Gitty-chan dies from angst after being conned by a counterfeit syndicate. Yao joins the police force in pursuit of revenge and justice. He faces several challenges, including the nonsensical antics of his colleagues, the cuteness (in his opinion) of his father murderers (they are Gitty-chan counterfeits) and harrassment from his partner Ivan, who claims to be his long-lost neighbour. This book is basically about the daily happenings in Yao life in the police force, where he eventually falls in love with his pesky colleague Ivan. There are many wacky scenarios in the story, such as when Yao was supposed to bring down an illegal syndicate but messed up because the crooks who were dressed like Gitty were apparently too ute and the part when Ivan was turned into a little boy by! Brittania Angel England. But underlying all the silliness (in a good way), Yao efforts to push himself to become strong so that he can stay as Ivan partner is really heart-warming and sweet. My Favourite Scenes:
Ivan confesses his love for Yao.
Ivan is transformed into a child by the Brittania Angel. The only way to break the spell is by kissing his beloved.
The spell breaks …
Another normal day in the police station, whereby Ivan punishes Yao for poor performance by forcing him to crossdress, much to the delight of everyone at the station.
